Pete's not so bad. Equally as qualified for SecDef as Lawyer Becerra is for Sec HHS, and you never squawked about that.
Your claim to believe a president might should appoint leaders so disloyal that they openly state that the man who appointed them is unfit tells me you are completely dishonest.
My question was not dishonest. You could have said “No, but . . .” and not thrown away all integrity.
None of Joe Biden's appointees ever said he was unfit for office. Not even when the DNC and the Democrat media said he was.
The question was simple, and yes or no. I gave you credit for answering it honestly. You believe that in some circumstances President Trump would be correct to appoint a nominee that openly states that Trump is unfit for office. You’re still trying to put those words in my mouth.
your question was extremely dishonest, as you couched it inyour own construct. After which you began ranting that I said the words you wanted to put in my mouth.
Don't have to argue with a Democrat long before they play the "you're a fag" card. Real tolerant bunch.A real girlie sort of game.
The America people once again choose to disagree with "all around the world."As for pointing out that Trump is unfit for office, that’s a widely held view for much of his former staff and cronies. And generally understood all around the world.
Nope. Dems are scum.Only in your imagination.
That's a direct conflict of interest for the people. You set up an either/or fallacy, and you’re trying to make me argue it.
I’m not going to play your dishonest little game.
As I noted, Secretaries of Defense have been captains of industry (Charles E Wilson. Robert McNamara, Robert Lovett) people with long histories in government service (Rumsfeld and Cheney, Clark Clifford, Elliot Richardson)
Hegseth is so vastly inferior to his predecessors as to make his nomination little more than a cynical joke.

I disagree, but as long as you don't try to backpedal, we can have an honest disagreement.

We spent the last four years under a president who kowtowed to " all around the world" (but especially China and Ukraine). Look where it got us.
The problem with your calling me a racist was that I spoke truth. Biden didn't appoint unqualified blacks to any cabinet position. I have shown the comparison between Hegseth and Austin. It's not even close and the fact that you MAGA racists call every back candidate unqualified but here you defend a white dude who is most definitely unqualified for the position says a lot about you. You are the racist, and the problem with your racism is that you want to make every black person an appointment by color, but don't want to admit that a white dude is only considered because of his race, not his qualifications.Wrong again. I called your no names. I did comment on your lack of mental acuity, but facts are facts. It is interesting that you believe it is wrong to name someone to a post because he is white, but didn't seem to complain when Biden appointed unqualified people to positions because they were black. That would seem to indicate you are the racist. You apparently believe in one rule for thee and another for me.
I think Hegseth will be confirmedWhite, Entitled, and Incompetent
Hegseth didn't show any command of issues. And he refused to answer critical questions. This is not what we should have as Secretary of Defense. The Democrats thought that they would get under Hegseth’s skin and cause him to crumble under the pressure dominstrating they he’s not mentally ough enough for the office.
The exact opposite happened. His calm demeanor in response to their overt hostility got under their skin and many of them lost their composure. That didn’t surprise me
What did surprise surprise me was his apparent grasp of specific issues. The Democrats wasted a great opportunity to dig into how much understanding he has on the serious and often complicated defense issues. Instead they went into character assassination mode. They made Hegseth look like the experienced adult in the room.
He's orders of magnitude better than Joey bribems clown. He's a WEI candidate. He shouldn't even be there.
The fuck he didn’t.Hegseth didn't show any command of issues. And he refused to answer critical questions. This is not what we should have as Secretary of Defense.
Yes he did. The Democrats screwed up. They embarrassed themselves by going into personal attack mode. Hegseth made goaded them into making themselves look foolish.Hegseth didn't show any command of issues. And he refused to answer critical questions. This is not what we should have as Secretary of Defense.
You entire premise is simply not true. The problem with racists like you is you define every failing of your own and every success of others as racism. {He got the job because he is a white racist. He lost the job because his boss is a racist.} Trying to discuss racism on an intellectual basis with someone like yourself is like talking to a wall so I will cease doing so.The problem with your calling me a racist was that I spoke truth.
