Police did not clear him. It was a he said, she said....they had no way of proving she was lying and no way of proving he was lying.... Prosecutors have a very limited budget for trials and do NOT bring charges, unless they are certain they will win, with a jury conviction....there was not enough evidence to bring the accusations, to trial.

He was not CLEARED just because charges were not brought, there wasn't enough evidence for prosecutors to bring it to a trial, under the prosecutor rules....that doesn't clear or convict a person.

But if Hegseth believed the police really cleared him,

then why would he enter in to a non disclosure agreement, and PAY HER AND HER HUSBAND off with hush money?

Well, okay, I was discussing the missing kids, (who aren't missing at all), not Hegseth... I'm really not interested in her opinion on Hegseth.


I only listened to the first minute and half...

Okay, here's the problem. The argument made by Hegseth's defenders is that because the police didn't file charges, that makes it okay some how.

Let's get real. There are men in prison for a lot less evidence than they had on Hegseth. They had his DNA and a pretty credible complaint. He got a pass because he was a minor celebrity. White privilege strikes again.

We do a terrible job in this country of prosecuting sexual assault. Less than three percent of rapists are ever put in prison. That the system failed this woman, is not a good reason to give this guy a pass.

But it is important because there are things there that don't add up. For example, she didn't remember the event or that anything happened until the following Monday when she had sex with her husband, the alleged rape took place on Saturday and she didn't report it til the following Thursday, again, after she had sex with her husband?

She claims everything became fuzzy while at the bar, yet after that, she was having an argument with hegseth, then there is video of him and her all smiles with arms locked

Then, her husband's account to the police said she was no stumbling or slurring her words when she came back to the hotel room (JUST after the encounter had happened), this does not line up with someone who would have been either intoxicated or under the effects of some kind of roofie.

Sometimes people pay others off, not because they are guilty, but because they just want them to go away and not bring any hassell to them.

I personally think the lady's story is questionable....It just seems weird....but I could be wrong....yet his claim doesn't seem non-weird either.... Thus a he said, she said.

My issue is with him not being able to keep his zipoer zipped, married or not... And usually with women that work with him.

He married his first wife, (no kids) and she divorced him because he got a Fox News editor pregnant, he then married the Fox News editor and they went on to have three children in total, two after marriage...she continued to work at Fox and so did he...

Then he cheated on his second wife, while both he and wife were working there, with a new editor of his show, and got her pregnant.... She delivered their baby in August of 2017....he still was not divorced from his second wife yet....though separated I believe? The mistress got demoted at Fox but not fired....

And in August of 2017, THE SAME AUGUST OF 2017 THAT THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED at his speaking event, is when he brought this woman back to his Hotel room....

Still married, still seeing the mistress and about to marry her, having now a newborn the same month with said Fox News mistress, ******* around while away on this speaking event in California, and might I add, again, without a condom.

And, while in the Military....if National Guard also rule under the Military Code (which I believe they do) he broke the Law twice with cheating on his wives, which calls for a Dishonorable Discharge as one of the Higher punishments...

My fear, is as the Defense Secretary, the Military will have zero respect for him...zero respect for him breaking laws they have to follow and would and could be court martialed for....

And also, especially when he lobbied and supported Trump, pardoning Military criminals....

My other fear is, as shown over a 20 year period...he's attracted to women he works with, and sleeps with them, whether married or not. He has zero self control...just willing to cheat on his wife, mother of his 3, with another woman, working right there at Fox News along with his wife, is a level of disrespect for his children's mother that is beyond the pale, for a so called very religious man....

And as DEFENSE SECRETARY I would hate to see the National and Worldwide headlines he makes, for the next person he ***** in the Defense department that he works with, who then has his next baby, and becomes his next wife...
