I just woke up to this news, The Tsunami is there, 8.9 earthquake about 20 foot of Tsunami,, Japan has fires everywhere, don't have a death toll yet.

Watching the news right now. They ares saying at least 40, but watching the news there are more. They are saying this is biggest earthquake in modern history.

I believe the whole pacific basin including the US Pacific west coast in on Tasuami watch.

If there are waves coming they're expected to hit WA around 8 AM Pacific time.

I've read that the quake has been estimated between 8.3 and 8.9.

If it's 8.9, it will be, I'm informed, the largest recorded quake in history.

Hawaii's highways are now gridlocked and people are being told to get out of their cars and walk.

I remember a day or two ago a newcaster mentioned a quake on Japan. They announced it right in the middle of the Wisconsin FleeBagging episode but it was only a 5 somthing so I just brushed it off. This one is terrible.

Death toll is now projected "into the thousands." Looking at the video, I'd guess "into the 10s of thousands." That tsunami took no prisoners.
