We already had half the Jews on the planet come over, so this FDR killed Da Joos bullshit only flies with morons. The U.S. was turning away a lot of immigration starting in 1920, due to the millions of unassimilated hordes already here. Auto companies were still having to give English lessons to employees in the 1930's. Jews were not discriminated against re immigration policies in the 1930's, and in fact advocated for increases; Congress voted them down, not Roosevelt.

Department. In this November 13, 1935 letter, the President advises Lehman
of the results of his own examination of the visa issue, the legal limitations
imposed by the Immigration Act of 1924, and his instruction to the State
Department that German Jews applying for visas be given “the most generous
and favorable treatment possible under the laws of this country.”

He effectively doubled the quota just for German Jews at that time. Later on, he increased it by a large number after the invasion of Austria.
