Well, let's put aside your bias. He took a $1M loan from his dad and turned it into many billions across the decades, building large building and with big dreams beyond the Brooklyn buildings his dad owned. Along the way, he employed 10s of thousands of Americans.

Sure he failed at times, that's business, If you don't risk capital, you don't make either. That's how it is supposed to work, though he did leverage political circumstances in his day too.
