You do need to understand that Trump INHERITED a robust and growing economy and the tax cuts helped it continue. Tax cuts are beneficial at first but long term they have a negative effect on the economy and the long-term consequences of those tax cuts could be not seen or felt because the pandemic showed up and everything went belly up.

Trump gave us the best economy of my lifetime in his first three years in office. Treasury revenues increased signficantly and inflation was as low for those three years as it is ever going to be. That a dishonest media and irresponsible woke economists are trying to frighten people with absolutely no evidence is pretty shameful. There is nothing in his proposed economic policy that is substantially different.
