I was a 27E anti-armor missile systems tech and repairman and a 52D generator operator and mechanic.....

I was Air Force 3E072, Electrical Power Production Technician -- a generator operator and mechanic.

I worked with a 52D for a bit at Kunsan AB, troubleshooting one of his units on a Patriot battery. That boy was smart as hell, really knew his electronics.

Happy Veteran's Day. All schools should be closed on this day.

We always gave our daughters the choice whether to go to school. When they didn't, we'd send a note with them the next day:

"Dear _____

"_____ didn't attend school yesterday because it was Veterans Day. Her mother is an Air Force veteran, and I am active-duty Air Force.

"Signed, _____"

Never got any push-back.
