Most of us celebrate the Gregorian New Year's ( Jan. 1st. ) Bit amazed at the various ways it's celebrated. The Scots take the cake with all their customs. Mexicans carry around an empty suitcase for travel. In Spain they eat 12 grapes at midnight. In Japan they visit temples and have lucky charms ( not the cereal ). In the Philippines they wear polka dot clothing and eat round fruits. Know any others ? I'm not sure if it was just a joke on the young but in Poland people ran around the house naked three times to ward off evil spirits. I only did it one time. We lived onain Street of a small town.and for scots: happy hogmanay!
