Jimmyeatworld, haven't seen ya in a while and don't know if you'll read it but Merry Merry Birthday today!

Thanks. I have had a lot of irons in the fire lately, mostly some family stuff, but I sure started my birthday with a bang.

You might remember something about me hitting a deer a few months ago, November to be exact. Well, about an hour and a half into my birthday, as I was driving home from work, I hit another one. Really hard. This was no glancing blow, clip job the last one was. This was a full frontal, broadside, deployment of both airbags, knock the deer in the air, lucky it didn't end up in my lap deerslaughter. The car is totalled, but I came out of it with just a welt on my arm from the airbag. The deer didn't make it.

So far, I've spent my birthday running back and forth from the insurance office, to the car lot (it wasn't paid for yet), to the body shop. Right now, I'm gonna be on the hook until State Farm decides that the car is indeed totalled, which there's no telling how long that will take. They might be like a good neighbor, but they are a slow neighbor.

So... Anybody else got any birthday horror stories?
