Hamas Already Back to What They Do

Getting 2000 people back in exchange for 20 hostages was a win for Palestine, not Israel. That Netty isn't even bothering to go to Egypt just shows that neither side is into a peace deal. It isn't even a peace deal---it is a ceasefire being peddled as something bigger than it is by the peddler in chief to distract from his problems at home.
Wow, we don't need journalists or reporters anymore now that we have mind readers.

You basically just agreed with him.

Here is what I wrote: IMHO you are wrong...I think if hamas not the Palis start more trouble

I guess I should have expanded on it and wrote MOST want the war to end. However there are always radicals-police officers are convicted of murder on duty because the shot people they don't have.

Tell me...what have you gained by your post ?

We know OP.....

BTW.....Whatever vid you have is dead.

It's not dead. I can still see it on X. I think they're preventing it from being shared for some reason.

I said yesterday, this will be one of the dumbest "peace" deals ever because they allowed Hamas to remain in power. Hamas are savage terrorists. They don't just terrorize Israel; they terrorize their own people. They don't want peace. This is simply giving them time to lick their wounds and they'll be back to the status quo soon enough. Letting the Palestinians return to Gaza will prove to be a failure.

Great Peace Deal;

Part 1. All hostages to be released.
So far all 20 living hostages have been released, plus the remains of 4 others...families can have a funeral for them, closure.

No, a "great peace deal" would be one that allows for peace for the next thousand years. This doesn't do that. This will give peace for a few years, until Iran can build Hamas up again.

But Hamas at its "peak" pulled off a surprise attack that more damaged the psyche of Israel than presented any actual, existential threat. And they shot their shot, that attack won't ever be successful again.

I say that, because that's the key to the peace lasting at all. If Israel can just bulldoze Gaza whenever it "perceives" a serious terrorist threat or undergoes a notable terrorist attack, then there isn't much point in investing in a future for Gaza. Might as well move the people out and let the Kushner Trump Arab network have its way. Book a vacation someday.

They're all a bunch of hoodlums, the whole lot of em, if you ask me. Bad element, the whole bunch.

Anyway. Along the lines of that seldomly acknowledged or spoken reality, it looks like the IDF got in some so-called "final touches,'' as they put it, in the wake of the ceasefire, too...

Dunno what the deal is with all of the selfies, tho.

Weirdos...

How would Hamas take control of the PA? They haven't managed to do so, up to this point. I don't think that's a possibility.

Well, there's always a fight between Hamas and Fatah,

"The Palestinian Authority controlled the Gaza Strip prior to the Palestinian elections of 2006 and the subsequent Gaza conflict between the Fatah and Hamas parties, when it lost control to Hamas; the PA continues to claim the Gaza Strip, although Hamas exercises de facto control."

So, essentially Hamas controls/controlled Gaza, even though the PA said it controlled Gaza.

Things change. But then Fatah isn't exactly seen as that much different to Hamas.

Well, things change. Depends on how much Iran wants to put in. If others support Iran (like Russia and China) and build up the Iranian economy and subvert the sanctions, then things could change pretty quickly.

And 2000 Palestinian prisoners released. Yeah, great deal.

Try loosening the XB flap. You're cutting off your circulation.
My circulation is fine. Believing that Israel is ever going to help create a Palestinian State, especially when the current PM has already said no effing way, just because The Donald says it will is just precious.

Israel has offered a separate state multiple times and was rejected every time because it would require acknowledging Israel's right to exist.

Here's the thing, the fact that Hamas has been so weakened that said rival militias can even challenge them is a good thing.

Maybe the people of Gaza are finally sick of Hamas. Maybe.
