air conditioning, a treat

spraying repellent all o'er
pausing all stingers​

covering well from the sun
putting cancer down​

with aloe vera to soothe
any sun damage​

fresh juicy oranges
vitamin, mineral pills
cow milk on wheat bran

cooler winds prevail
instant air conditioning

complaint department:
three years a widow enough
of sleeping alone

it's complicated
memories do lose their thrill
who said life was fair

dropped into the church
to replace folder pencils
friendship rituals

I didn't find him
sitting in an empty pew
with glint in his eye

<giggle> it's funny
but a warm body can be
vengeful and hateful

visiting Iron Works
guys lifting there seem married
keeping to myself

zero-turned front yard
it looks so spiffy when done
took tractor to field

when tomorrow breaks
southwest pasture needs some work
diesel fill up nigh

clean off the counters
dishwasher getting so old
half its functions gone

have to toss junk mail
'tis piling up with fabrics
silly things to hoard

finish pink quilt up
put it in pile charity
deliver Monday

life isn't perfect
but things work out with a list
cheerful busywork

after a blustery morn
