No, guns are not a health crisis- idiot. Guns don't have a health. Good lord- inert paper (the constitution) is not alive either- FYI- smh

I find the pro life are a bunch of hypocrites.
You find inconsistently- the "pro-life" is about the unborn, stupid. Not some fool who harms another and gets punished accordingly- or shot in the act- good lord!

There is likely a reason why the Beijing Biden administration wants guns connected to Healthcare. There is likely a power grab involved...

Funny thing. I went out shooting early this morning. I shot an AR-15 with a high capacity magazine.

I killed some paper targets and popped a dozen clay targets on a 200 yd berm but never harmed anybody.

The "public heath crisis" is only in the demented minds of the stupid Moon Bats.

While at a Trump rally before the election I got to see a draft of President Trump's new Constitution that he was going to sign into law once he got elected. The part about gun rights was very simple "There shall be no limits on the rights to own and use guns anytime, anywhere, and no future laws or regulations can place limits when on those rights". President Trump's great philosophy was that each amendment to the new Trump Constitution should be no longer than a tweet.

Yep, guns are now being framed as a public health crisis.

I never would have dreamed I'd be posting gun discussions in the health care subforum, but guns are now a health crisis.
And of course the dishonest right is going to advance the lie that the appropriate designation of gun violence as a health crisis is a ‘back door’ effort to ‘confiscate’ guns.

Republicans are against Democracy?! Interesting. Apparently you haven't been paying attention to the left's determined goal of destroying the Constitution and its Bill of Rights (you know, the annoying freedom of speech, right to own firearms to defend yourself and family, voting integrity, due process).
What does the former Democrat Party (not to be confused with JFK's Democrat Party), a one-party government, with any media that doesn't agree with it, ended, a huge bureaucratic agency in charge of our lives, all marching in lock-step with their ideology, depicting any who disagree with them as the enemy, traitors and vile human beings. In short, it's Communist in nature, not a Democracy.
So, who's against Democracy? The pro-Marxist Democrat Party.
Think: "Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (Communist North Korea)."
"Laos Peoples Democratic Republic (Communist)."
"Peoples Republic of China (Communist)."
"Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Communist)."
They sure do like to make the titles of their nation's sound so inviting: Democratic, Peoples, Republic, Socialist.
What do they all have in common? One-party government. No freedom of speech. No rights. Authoritarian rule. Everyone must be in lock step.....or else.

They've been trying to push that nonsense for years.
They'll have no need to make a correlation if they come for the guns. It WILL cause a public health crisis. One far worse than covid or anything else, especially for the designated "door-kickers".

Won't happen. They won't have the votes.

That said, I must agree. The left doesn't feel a similar passion toward anything in their program, and in conversation underestimate the reaction should they ever make that mistake in our time.

As this is the 21st century and as many owners of firearms, are mostly bluster, I don't think it'll be as much a carnage as you think. If our new pro-Marxist administration implemented a mandatory buy back or face federal felony charges, it would be challenged in court, but you would see a lot of firearms turned in, in the mean time.
Personally, I put a career in the military because of our Bill of Rights, including the right to bear arms, so if they want mine, they'll have to kill me to get them and as I'm older and the wife died years ago, I don't worry about it.
