It's occurred many times in the past several decades, where a group of American lives together in a compound, and maintains a large arsenal of weaponry. Like Waco.

And, usually the Federal Government, through the ATF, monitors these groups.

Should this be the case? Are you in favor of the Federal Government monitoring groups of Americans that have large collections of guns?

No, not really. I'd much rather they monitor people who travel back and forth from the Middle East while attending mosques well known for their radical faction. Or people who have been in the nuthatch and jail for assault and/or sex offenses, or arson, and whose neighbors and relatives have admitted they are afraid of...I kind of wish they'd keep an eye on the people they let out of Gitmo, and the violent criminals they are allowing to cross back and forth across the border.
