All of Wagner's leadership are former Russian special forces. It's one reason (amongst many) that they have been successful. Their organization and functioning is different than Russian regular army. Much much more cooperation and coordination between the divisions.
There already has been a few skirmishes between Wagner Group mercenaries and regular Russian Army....

What are they going to do if this breaks out into warfare?
