A young man was shot dead after armed attackers stormed a west London flat in the early hours of the morning, police said today.

The victim, 28, was found unconscious in the second-floor flat in Askew Road, Shepherd’s Bush, with fatal injuries at about 2.40am on Saturday morning.

A post-mortem carried out yesterday revealed he died from a bullet wound to the chest.

Detectives now believe “a number of men” forced entry to the flat before shooting the man dead, and have urged for witnesses to come forward.

Neighbours this week described the second-floor flat, which sits above a closed down beauty parlour, as a known hotspot for drug dealing in the area.

94% of gun owners, who had a home invasion, failed to discharge their firearms in their own defense.

You cannot expect the average Joe to be capable of taking a human life on a moment's notice, let alone after being roused from sleep.

We need to keep our argument simple...the Constitution guarantees our right to keep and bear arms.

The Department of Justice under bill clinton put the number of defensive gun uses at 1,500,000 times a year.....and that isn't the only study that puts it that high.

The Constitution is no protection...we need to show othe citizens the actual truth about guns....they already support useless universal background checks so just stating we have the Right is not going to help us keep the Right....
