Curitiba in Southern Brazil

The greenhouses in the Botanical Garden of Curitiba in southern Brazil
resemble the glass palaces of 19th-century France
but were actually constructed by architect Abraão Assad in 1991.

The angular glass façade of the Tropicarium at Frankfurt’s Botanical Garden reflects waterlilies in the nearby pond.

The Palm House, Vienna, Austria

Composed of 45,000 sheets of glass, the Palm House at Schönbrunn Palace Park in Vienna
takes the cake as the largest glass house in continental Europe.
Devised by designer Franz von Segenschmid and constructed by metalworker
Ignaz Gridl in the 1880s, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Cosmic Greenhouses aka "Groundcontrol", western Germany

Misson 2 Mars is an abandoned greenhouse and horticultural nursery complex in western Germany. This location also goes by the names “Groundcontrol” and “Space Garden”. This garden was used as a part of a regional “back to work” training program for the unemployed, to give them commercial gardening skills and to enable them a gateway into paid work. The site became disused around 2010.

More pictures and explanation of the project here: https://www.obsidianurbexphotography.com/other/misson-2-mars/

This thread is all about a greenhouse in the backyard for the fun of growing something your climate does not allow. Fun? Profit? Eye candy? A Tropical environment in the dead of an arctic winter? Is your growing zone too hot or to cold to grow certain trees, fruits, herbs, or veggies? Are you fascinated by greenhouse architecture? Do you want to grow pineapples but don't live in Hawaii? Citrus but you don't live in Southern Cal, the Florida Keys, or the Equator? Let's jam!

Firstly, I just like the look of a stunning greenhouse, large or small... eh! So I'll start with one from Finland ...

The Blue Greenhouse made of old windows.

Save those old windows! They can be recycled into the above with a couple of gallons of blue paint.

Here's the interior of Chicago's Garfield Park Conservatory:

It reminds me of the Conservatory in Fort Worth my late husband and I saw when we went to his 50th Pasqual High School Reunion in the same city. That was about 15 years ago, and I can't find what it looked like back then, as they may have replaced it with a beautiful building, but not like what I recall which is like the above conservatory in Chicago.

People in the state of Alaska have solved some of their aching for spring weather. Snow, snow, snow, in contrast to show, show, show...
