In an alternate universe, Green candidate Dr Jill Stein wins the White House in 2016. Grass-roots Tea Party independents sweep the Donkiphant out of Congress.
A House and Senate majority blocks all of Stein's spending priorities. But, the government finds common ground on a few issues;
Opposition to globalism. Opposition to NAFTA and GATT.
Opposition to the Patriot Act, NSA power, censorship and domestic surveillance.
Opposition to the FED. More Jefferson, less Hamilton.
Reluctance to use military force for any purpose other than protecting our borders.
Social libertarianism, sexual libertarianism, decriminalization of non-violent offenses (marijuana)...
