You have to show evidence of that...

Showing one subcontractor in a huge project is not evidence... It is not the HS2 to do their subbies books.. When you go into Tesco do you check that they have paid VAT and Corporation Tax?

BTW, I dealt with a large organisations and incompetence and protectionism/survival are way way more common than corruption...

I can only repeat and say, the fraud on the rail is immense, and idiots like Tommy Tit say, "Tories under funded rail". It's very expensive because of fraud and unions.

Tommy wasn't probably exact... There are overspends on high profile projects when what is needed is better funded basic services that don't make headlines...

HS2 is more about incompetent project management than corruption.. Incompetency can have people over paid but that is not corruption... If I offer you £3000 a day for a job and you accept it, that is not necessarily corruption, if you are worth £3000 a day for the job hired then that is market value, if not, it could be I overestimated your worth or hired you for wrong job...
I work in large IT Projects all the time and I see completely incompetent people getting a huge rate to do a job... I don't blame them, they just accepted the job, who the hell hired them..

So the unions negotiated higher wages if you operated it. So what do the staff do on the other days of the week? They book their overtime down to the ballast machine.

So what do you do if you're in charge of electrical supplier accounts? Obviously get the materials on Network Rail's account and do foreigners.

So what do you do if the new DeWalt reciprocating saw is sat on a shelf not used, but you ordered it it in knowing it won't be used? That's right, steal it and take it home.
