The recent version of True Grit was actually very good, imho. The kid that performed Darby's part was excellent.

Alien

Cause I am a sci fi kinda guy.

Both an excellent SF classic and a terrific horror movie, too.
And I have no intellect ? Let me guess. You're a Trekkie too ? :cuckoo:

Correct: You have no intellect of any kind whatsoever.

And no. I'm not a "Trekkie." Or a Trekker.

I do think some versions of Star Trek were very well done, though.

Happy to disagree with you! You remain a doucher.

The best movies of all time? Oh man, there are so many, but I'll give you mine:

The Godfather
The Sherlock Holmes Series (featuring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce)
The Ten Commandments (Charleton Heston)
We Were Soldiers (The best and most truthful Vietnam movie ever made)
Tie a Yellow Ribbon (John Wayne)
The Searchers (Another John Wayne Classic!)
It's a Wonderful Life
White Christmas (Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye - They don't make them like that anymore)
Duck and Cover AND Reefer Madness (I mean really, have you seen these two?? The 50's gone crazy!)

There's so many more, but I love those.

Casablanca
Toy Story I, II & III (shut up)
Alien
Silence of the Lambs
Godfather I and II
Gladiator
Back to the Future

Tombstone ftw.......

I don't really think in those terms. It's more a matter of "favorite movie", or possibly "best movie from this perspective". For example, I can tell you which movies I think had the best character development, or best plot development, or best dialogue, or camera work, or whatever.

My favorite movie is, and probably always will be, "Cyrano de Bergerac", starring Jose Ferrer. I saw it in my mid-teens, and immediately fell in love with the title character, as portrayed by Mr. Ferrer (I've never liked any other actor's portrayal). While much of the rest of the movie was very average, standard Hollywood fare for the time, Jose Ferrer gave a very nuanced and touching performance, which is pretty impressive when you consider that the original story doesn't have a lot of real depth or nuance to it.

Lord of The Rings ..

The Good Bad & Ugly..

Cool Hand Luke

Hud

Gladiator
