He won the Presidency, as a pro-civil rights guy, with his base IN THE SOUTH.

And not just the south. He had plenty of northern support too.

The Great American Fair runs through July 10th. It doesn't look like there have been large crowds there at this point, but maybe by this weekend, with the Fourth of July coming, we'll see larger turnout. Probably should wait until them before passing judgment.
