This should have been done decades ago. There's nothing good to learn from African Americans except for the awareness of their criminality against White people.

It's important to note that the College Board has been quite secretive over the content of the course, refusing to release the APAAS curriculum or the names of the 60 schools in which it is being offered, as Stanley Kurtz over at The National Review reported. Kurtz, who was the first to report on the course being rejected by Florida, managed to obtain a copy. That copy revealed a course with a decidedly socialist political bent; it promotes the overthrowing of capitalism.
Thats a Newsweek link

Of course he's not trying to ban black history. He's just trying to ban mentioning it in schools.

This is the MAGAt belief system, folks. Don't understand why they can't attract many black voters.

Nothing serves America's domestic politics like racism!
But still DeSantis can only be a racist also ran until Trump moves aside for him. Or is moved aside!

"There's nothing good to learn from African Americans..."

Personally, my avatar would suggest that the good poster, MAGAMan make the above sentence his sig-line. It succinctly and fairly defines the thinker behind that avatar.

It lets forum contributors, lurkers, moderators, and day-trippers.......know the quality and character of MAGAMan.

Of course, MAGAts believe that African-Americans have con-tributed NOTHING to this country.

I think there is an argument to be made, poster 'bodecea, that that is an under-education thingy. Either didn't attend a quality school, wasn't properly brought up in the childhood home, or a poor student, or acculturated in an overtly racist and Klannish environment.

It's not all that harmful of a thing though.
After all, America is full of better educated, better parent-ed people who do live and do contribute in productive and intelligent neighborhoods. So that balances the relatively few under-educated and repellant ones. No disrespect intended towards the earnest poster MAGAMan.

Check the numbers. Trump and Republican candidates saw a net increase in Black and Latino voters. It is the Democrat Party realizing their 85 percent hold on Blacks is slowly deteriorating.

The governor's office also rereleased a statement from Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Communications Director Alex Lanfranconi. "We are glad the College Board has recognized that the originally submitted course curriculum is problematic, and we are encouraged to see the College Board express a willingness to amend. AP courses are standardized nationwide, and as a result of Florida’s strong stance against identity politics and indoctrination, students across the country will consequentially have access to an historically accurate, unbiased course," Lanfranconi said.

Lanfranconi also referenced Gov. DeSantis' commitment to stop wokeness in Florida schools. "As Governor DeSantis said, African American History is American History, and we will not allow any organization to use an academic course as a gateway for indoctrination and a political agenda," his statement continued.
