Absolutely. When the bubble started to grow, it increased the price of houses via supply and demand. A house that used to be 200K last year is now 250K this year because of the panic buying. It doesn't mean it's actually worth 250K under normal circumstances, but it means it's worth 250K today, and therefore you can get a loan to buy that house for 250K.
