The Presidency Is Motor-Voter RoadkillExcept that they take the immigrants words for it. This from the CAPI website in California:
CAPI is a 100 percent state-funded program designed to provide monthly cash benefits to aged, blind, and disabled non-citizens who are ineligible for Supplemental Security Income/State Supplementary Payment (SSI/SSP) solely due to their immigration status. The Welfare Reform Act of 1996 (P.L. 104-193) eliminated SSI/SSP eligibility for most non-citizens. As a result, most immigrants who were not receiving SSI/SSP in August 1996 are no longer eligible for SSI/SSP. The amount of CAPI benefits is equivalent to the amount of SSI/SSP benefits.

So, here is what the shysters at the immigration law center (the website you quoted, in case you forgot) will tell their clients: Apply for benefits and tell they you are illegal. When they reject you, go to CAPI and get the equivalent from them. Theeeen . . . go back to the welfare office and tell them that now you have legal status as an asylee, and they will give you benefits also.
If you think that can't happen, explain how they stop such fraud.
You know how I know it's bullshi'ite to say that immigrants don't get welfare? Because the people who say that are the exact ones that would be pressuring The Big Guy to give illegals benefits, while crying about how they are starving, if it were true that they don't get benefits.
Now you know. I have given you the benefit of the doubt that you just didn't research it enough, instead taking the word of immigration activists. If you say again that illegals can't get benefits, I'll know you're just a liar, and stop bothering with you.
are you deliberately trying to make conservatives look bad, maybe not really believing what u are saying?Abbott says Texas could 'resurrect' SCOTUS case requiring states to educate all kids
The comments came after a leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court revealed that a majority of justices were considering overturning Roe v. Wade.www.statesman.com
"Gov. Greg Abbott said Wednesday that Texas would consider challenging a 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring states to offer free public education to all children, including those of undocumented immigrants. Abbot said "the Supreme Court ruled against us on the issue. ... I think we will resurrect that case and challenge this issue again, because the expenses are extraordinary and the times are different" -- The remarks came days after a leaked draft of the forthcoming U.S. Supreme Court opinion."
Now, this may not be as good as overturning Brown vs Board, but it is a very good start....Most Texans (at least the real Texans) won't mind denying free education to a bunch of dirty wetback kids who can't even speak the language --
I agree with both that AND with stopping illegals at the border. Illegals will come in exactly as large a number as they are allowed to come, regardless of whether there are jobs available. But, I agree with fining employers for hiring them, and also imprisoning them. Employers who do that are giving aid and comfort to the enemy that is invading us.If you want tp stop immigration then you need to fine the employers who exploit them.
It isnt difficult.
And its very easy for employers to verify staff.

The only challenge is on providing public education at state expense to the children of illegals which is nothing but an unfunded federal mandate and a huge drain on states especially the border states.Abbott says Texas could 'resurrect' SCOTUS case requiring states to educate all kids

That fear of losing their hegemonic grip on power in this ever progressing country has been the chief motivating factor in how Conservatives turn out their base to vote for decades....which is why they no longer campaign on ACTUAL policies, but campaign on that fear....Just ask yourself, what is a Conservative platform policy that doesn't involve doing something to some other group that Conservatives don't like? Doing something "TO PEOPLE" is a far more motivating factor than doing something "FOR PEOPLE" -- if you are a conservative.....and their policies show it.
Most US employers are either citizens or legal residents, your argument is a faliure.Educating the children of US employers is putting the country first. What do you think the future would look like with millions uneducated? (not that I really expect an honest answer from you)
No, you really aren't, you don't even realize what you're saying.I am the utmost expert on what I said.
They are here illegally if their parents brought them here illegally so they should be legally returned to their country of origin at federal gov't expense.I get it, guilty for the sins of their fathers. Generally you all are dismissing this argument as invalid.

They are here illegally if their parents brought them here illegally so they should be legally returned to their country of origin at federal gov't expense.
The federal gov't can then negotiate with their countries of origin for the cost of processing and transportation.
Since Brexit made the UK a hostile place our economy has suffered. But the government has no desire to do that. The economy would be a real big mess with the removal of millions of workers. That as everyone knows is why no one (including Trump) even attempts it.
An Indication That the Leaders of the Patriots Are Weak Is That They Won't Use "Immigration Criminals" for "Illegals"Nor does it say, that the non-citizens must have legal status.
I sure hope the Brits are not considering ending all of the socialism.Since Brexit made the UK a hostile place our economy has suffered.
Farmers cant find people to harvest their crops. Our health and care systems are at near collapse and even our restaurants are closing through lack of staff.
The government are also finding that their tax receipts are suffering.
