Government Petition

You can post a petition on the government's website. Once it achieves 100,000 votes or more, it must be discussed on the Commons floor.

Usually it takes ages to get to 100,000 votes, and that's for the very few that get there.

How about a petition to sack Starmer and call another general election, surely it'll take some time to surpass 100,000 votes!!

I am guessing most of your farmers have signed this petition already.

I imagine so, and this is their petition on inheritance tax -

I've heard that Starmer is trying to figure out a way to back peddle out of that tar pit without making it look like they are running away screaming like little school girls.

One prediction before the election was that a Starmer government was going to be an indecisive government. They blunder in without a clue, realism catches up with them, the mess and back peddling begins.

They made far too many far-fetched promises that anybody in their right mind could have seen they could not possibly fulfill given the overall state of the British economy. Even if they were out to really catch those wealthy folks who bought farms to avoid inheritance tax, they could have come up with a better approach than this one.

Well, many farms around where I live are passed down in the family. They don't always farm them, they tend to have tenant farmers. But inheritance tax is simply taxing the dead.

You could lead a life where your disposable income is a few thousand a year, then you inherit a million or so £pound estate. It's all assets. So how do you pay the tax bill? So you have to sell some of the assets. But if your grandparents or parents worked hard to build up the assets, why tax the dead for you to be forced into selling some (all) of the assets to pay the tax bill?

The likes of Tommy has never achieved anything in his life, so he detests those with money and assets. But the Labour party attract that type of gullible.

As does our own democratic party. Not saying the GOP is much better, but they at least realize that you cannot tax your way to the Promised Land. Harris' proposed tax on unearned gains would have absolutely gutted the economy.

Major retailers wrote to Downing Street on what the rise in National Insurance tax and lowering the threshold will do. Prices will have to increase, more store closures will happen, lower job numbers and smaller contracted hours. The high street retailers are struggling as it is and Labour believe they're growing the economy, a stronger Britain by taxing the **** out of them.

When a government wants to stimulate growth, they lower tax and bring in grants, initiatives etc.. if retailers do x, y, and z.

But like their supporters, Labour don't have a clue, that's why it'll take decades to sort out their mess. The NHS and schools are still suffering from Blair's government with rent costs and dreadful 25 contracts. Folk never learn.

I would reverse most of the tory nationalisation experiments and bring them back into public ownership.
Would you reverse the privatisation that was put onto hospitals and schools too?

What will you do when nationalised utilities go back to being inefficient, no investment, and plagued by strikes?

You are talking as if the theft of public property has been a good thing and a massive success, it's Thatcherism gone mad, it would be like a socialist Government taking everything into state hands which by the way i would be against.

Labour party privatised the NHS and education, thicko.

Nationalised utilities ran inefficiently, created little investment (relied on the tax payer), and just plagued by strikes, thicko.

Manufacturing declined quicker and to a greater extent under Blair than Thatcher, thicko.

Your party Deadstick and Tommy Tainant just keep on getting thumped in the by-elections -

Loss after loss after loss. Then in 4 to 5 years time, kicked out for good. Then the rebuild starts. ******* Blair, now ******* Starmer. When will Labourite retards ever learn.

Stop lying thicko, Thatcher started the whole privatisation ball rolling, it's resulted in power Companies ripping us off, the French Government have a majority stake in my energy supplier, we have public transport on the floor, having good public services is a sign of a civilized society not a smash and grab free for all.

How many times do you need telling thicko i didn't vote Labour and Starmer should be on trial for war crimes, is that clear enough? your answer is to put Farage or that clown Clarkson in charge of the Country,14 years of Tory carnage under three different Tory Prime ministers and you want more of it, you must be retarded or a masochist.

Thicko, you are Left Wing, you're dumber than Labour. This clown show is on the shoulders of derps like you. Squirm all you want, but you're chuffed that the utter utter utter useless are running the shit show instead of the useless. That concept flies right through your empty head. At least get a carer or a 5 year old to explain it to you.

As I've said, it's just all theatre, but it just adds fuel to the fire that Starmer/Labour are more inept by a vast degree than Sunak/Conservatives.

If anyone thinks it's been dire after a few months, they haven't seen nothing yet. Dragging the UK back to 70's will just break the country, the world will be streets ahead. As I've said, it'll take years to sort out Starmer's mess.

The Labour government is already failing in only a matter of a few months. There is little confidence in their policies and ability to run the country. Voters threw out the Tories for being ineffective, however, there seems to be buyer's remorse given Labour's far left policies and crackdown on freedom of expression and speech.
