Government Created Flu Scare On The Way?..

There is currently an awful lot of chatter out there on this one. Many believe that this Government is currently planning some kind of manufactured Flu scare to usher in their Socialist healthcare policies once and for all. "I mean come on America,do it for the kids." Many believe it will sound something like that. Is this just silly Conspiracy stuff or is it based on some reality? I don't want to believe that our Government is capable of such Evil but i just don't know at this point. They could create mass hysteria at any moment if they want to. Would they actually manufacture a Flu Virus in Government labs and then release it or would they merely create mass hysteria over a Flu Virus that doesn't even exist?. Very disturbing questions to ponder i guess. Oh well i guess we'll just have to wait and see where things go with this one. Hmm?

Well the more i think about it the more it makes sense. Come October they could create mass hysteria over a Flu scare very easily. I think they are probably preparing for this right now. I could see them claiming that there aren't enough vaccines for the children because of the "Evil Republicans." I can also picture Hopey Changey on national TV ranting & raving about if the "Evil Republicans" would only allow his Socialist health care policies to be passed,the poor children could get those desperately needed vaccines. It might just be paranoia B.S. but at the same time it also makes sense. Hmm?

I'm not saying that there couldn't be a huge media push to scare people. But I am saying that you're moving off into science-fiction territory if you believe a government-wide conspiracy to create a virus that only the government can fix would occur.

There would be many many people who would have to be part of such a cover-up and conspiracy to make it a reality. It's far less probable that something like this could occur than the chance that it could.

I dont trust anyone these days. I give the government a hair's breadth of benefit of the doubt (both Bush and Obama's terms, lest you think I'm mis-weighted), but not blind allegiance. But it's one thing to distrust Obama. It's a far stranger thing to believe in a government health conspiracy.

I would be more concerned with them overestimating the threat and fucking up the response. Does anyone remember the swine flue scare of the Ford administration?

no, it is not a government scare, its a sensationalist media scare. those guys (media) fear-monger the populus so to cause it to seek more info on the subject at hand, where does the populus get more information, say it with me: THE NEWS! now, when more people watch it, the more money the corporations make. it is also a self feeding spiral.

also, using swine-flu as a method to hoard more votes, it can severely backfire against the dems. the reason is that the GOP can scream that "obamacare" will deny coverage to swine-flu patients.
