Gov. Christy Giving Boehner & House Majority Hell

those repairs were needed because of the same storm.

that aside, what prevented boehner and the majority from writing and passing their own relief bill?

have they not had the time since Sandy?

Yeah sure.

How about this shit

$58.8 million for forest restoration on private land.
$197 million “to… protect coastal ecosystems and habitat impacted by Hurricane Sandy.”
$150 million for “fishery disasters”, including fisheries in Alaska and the Gulf region.
$10.78 billion for public transportation, most of which is allocated to future construction and improvements, not disaster relief.
$17 billion for wasteful Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), a program that has become notorious for its use as a backdoor earmark program.

and again, what was it that was preventing the house majority from writing and passing their own bill sans what you call pork?

You think I can read the minds of corrupt politicians?

The only way that makes sense to fund so called disaster relief is the plan supported by Rand Paul.

1 year at a time starting with 9 billion in funding with oversight offset by cuts in foreign aid and foreign nation building.

That is what a real conservative would want.

The psycho talks about himself in the 3rd person.

The meds are misfiring this morning.

Jake has no trouble dealing with enemies of the people like you fascists, GoneBezerk.

Give us some credible evidence, pork boy.
Oh look....JaketheFake is mad that Democrap pork is being delayed.....

Actually, it is "**** you", boedicca.

The bill will pass and the TeaPs and ultra right will look very bad. They should.

So..we should be doing that nation wide, eh?

Lets just see how the folks in places like Florida, Oklahoma, Kentucky and so many other red states do after their next natural disasters.

are people not?......here in Cali....we are told if a sizable Quake hits.... for the first 2-3 days it may be just us and the local first responders......3-4 days later the State should be there....dont expect the Feds for maybe 5 days after..... they can all get there earlier but dont expect it....

Try 67 days (and counting) for New Jersey, New York, etc ... on this one.

well i thought this was about when it hits and the first week or so......not the cleanup....

Merely replying to a fascist who has no sense of balance at all, GoneBezerk. Sure, I can refer to myself in the 3rd person if I want, and I will still be me, and you will still be an anti-American fascist.

okay. so why didn't the real conservatives do it?

face it, there's nowhere to lay blame for not having a relief bill passed except on the feet of the house majority.

I'm saying they wouldn't want a bill passed for disaster relief that contained billions in spending that is not for disaster relief.

What is so hard to understand about that?

Honestly, what is hard for me to understand is why someone who is so uninformed about this issue, would feel the need to comment on the issue.

So there was no spending in that "relief" bill that was not directly for the people of New Jersey right?

I guess the roof repairs at the Smithsonian were for the people of NJ because they might go there someday.

Was the roof damaged during Sandy?

JaketheFake should be ignored for being psychotic and a conservative poser.

If the roof was damaged by Sandy, then certainly repairs should be included in the bill.

Ultra right freaks, give us some credible, objective middle of the road evidence that the Smithsonian roof repair needed was not caused by Sandy. Your silly blips on Youtube are trashy and wrong. Give us good sources.

Your gonna love this because I am using Huff Po as a source
Smithsonian officials say all the museums and their facilities in Maryland and Virginia are in good condition. There was no damage to the collections. Some buildings did have leaks during the storm, but maintenance staff was on hand to place sandbags in some areas to keep the buildings mostly dry inside.

Now if the roof just leaked then it was in need of repair before the rain not because of it.

Christie is a small government guy until he needs to pig out on bacon. In short he is just another Reagan hypocrite.

So is it your contention that "real" conservatives and/or "real" Repunl;icans don't ask for federal disaster relief?

I'm saying they wouldn't want a bill passed for disaster relief that contained billions in spending that is not for disaster relief.

What is so hard to understand about that?
this i agree with and both sides do this whenever a ******* Bill is up.....they have their little bullshit projects in there for their own States......it should not be allowed.....Money for a disaster should be for the disaster.....a Military Bill should be for the Military.....nothing else should be in it but what its for....

You think the Sandy relief bill was just for New Jersey?
\Do you think New Jersey is the only area Sandy hit?

why was there something in there for Alaska?....

Boehner once again demonstrates his genius

He manufactures the artificial crisis of a fiscal cliff and then ignores a real crisis

Just as you ignore the misuse of a crisis by politicians.

Oh I get it now...

Republicans in the House are willing to tell hundreds of thousands of people in desperate need of hurricane relief to screw themselves because of a leaky roof

wasting dollars chasing dimes

FEMA has short term funding available to address current and immediate infrastructure needs. A bill will be passed in due time, however, Crispy cream et.al. need to recognize some issues were a little more important to the house and senate then caving in and passing a bill that required close scrutiny. Trust me there will be a huge amount of PORK attached to this bill, it will be interesting to see what political paybacks will be included.

Asswipe...the bush tax cuts expiration date was created by your fellow scum in Congress.

The HoR sent numerous bills to Hairy Reid last year to avoid the end of the year fiasco that obamination orchestrated.

You scumbags must be dumber than shit or pure evil to come here spewing the bullshit 24/7.

Just as you ignore the misuse of a crisis by politicians.

Politicians had six months to fix the artificial crisis of their own creation and then use it as justification for holding up aid for a real crisis

Actually the term fiscal cliff originated in the press with a little help from the Messiah. As for artificial crisis, it is not, by the way, were long past the point of averting from falling into the abyss, we are descending each day.
