Gorsuch should withdraw from his nomination

After Trump's numerous attempts to delegitimize the judicial branch of our government and his multiple personal attacks against Gorsuch's colleagues... it would be dishonorable for Gorsuch to remain a candidate for Trump's Supreme Court pick.

Gorsuch cannot, in good faith, believe that Trump selected him for any other reason than to weaken our court system and increase his own power.

His hearings begin next week. It should be as entertaining as a WWE event.
Has anyone even heard Gorsuch's name mentioned in the last month? Something is going on

Yes there is. The media is concentrating on making Trump a Russian operative
.
The media is only trying to get to the bottom of this. Tr

HAHAHA you loons and your precious...lying, filthy media.

By the way how did that MSM prediction Hillary would win work out for ya?

The American MSM was much more complicit in attempting to sway the 2016 election with fake polls and propaganda.

I think that should be investigated. They were way more influential and complicit in criminal election tampering than Russia.

Uh oh! Did I just call out the elephant in the room?

Probably. A dishonorable one.
That's why the hardline leftists all fully supported him until President Trump nominated him?
  • Democrat Sens. Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Dick Durbin, Patty Murray, Patrick Leahy, Ron Wyden, Jack Reed, Tom Carper, Bill Nelson, Debbie Stabenow, Maria Cantwell, and Bob Menendez all previously supported Gorsuch’s 2006 nomination to the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • The American Bar Association unanimously gave Gorsuch its highest recommendation of “well qualified,” which Leahy and Schumer previously referred to as the “gold standard,” removing any doubt as to his qualifications to serve.

There won't be a complete investigation because too many democrats will be exposed as well.

I don't know that any Trump SC pick can take the bench with any respect or credibility after the tantrums Trump has thrown against the courts. Gorsuch half-heartedly spoke out once when Trump attacked the integrity of our courts, but if he has any respect for his profession he needs to take a stand. If he doesn't then I don't see how anybody can take his nomination seriously.
You kinda have to, whether you want to or not doesn't matter.

That was before he agreed to make a mockery of the SC nomination process.

Lol. Good thing liberal loon merrick is no longer under consideration.
Hopefully he taught Democrats an important lesson. They can block and filibuster Gorsuch for at least 293 days, and possibly until the 2018 elections.
Only until the Republicans finish the job Reid started and do away with the filibustering and blustering.

By following Bidens precedent? What's good for the goose is good for the gander dude. Biden pushed that agenda way back in the 1980's. You need to keep up, your ignorance and partisan hackery is showing.

Yep. Best case scenario for Democrats is that the rubes use the nuclear option. Then they can bash the GOP in the head with it politically for a few years and use it without consequence on a few justices when they're back in power.

How did Neil Gorsuch make a "mockery" of the process? He's been very articulate, forthcoming, and sincere. The "mockery" has been made by Chuck Schumer and the Dumbocrats who promised to obstruct the confirmation process before a nomination was even made by President Trump.

How do you figure? It was Harry Reid and the Dumbocrats who invoked that. They were warned it would come back to haunt them. Now, all of you anti-constitution hatriots are distraught over Republican power. We warned all of you. You people were addicted to power.

I've said a thousand times already - the Republicans should "nuclear" everything for as long as they are in power. Then, once they see an election result which transfers power, they should not only reverse the idiotic "nuclear option" but make it even harder than before Harry Reid's Senate invoked that, to pass legislation. Do something like require a 90% yes vote to pass legislation out of the Senate once they are "lame duck". It would be sweet justice and help prevent further abuses of power by the Dumbocrats.

By remaining the nominee of a man who has no respect for the judicial branch of government, and of a party that spent 293 days completely de-legitimizing the process of replacing a SC justice. He hasn't even spoken out against it. He's a dishonorable fraud.

It wouldn't be an effective club. Trump would get his nominees and the cherry would be to replace Buzzy with a sane justice.

It would be very effective. Even more so when Trump gets implicated in Russian treason and republicans have to deal with the fallout of using the nuclear option to install a justice nominated by a criminal.

You know what Gorsuch needs to believe? That he would be a good Justice.

Any others attempts on your part to conflate "Leftists are making a huge deal out of it, therefore conservatives should immediately concede defeat" with real policy advice is as unwanted as it is laughable.

What, you think he needs a pep talk or some shit? I swear, the modern GOP are ******* nuts.

No, I actually rather doubt he needs any pep talks.

The point is that one applies for a job because one believes oneself qualified to do it. The reasons behind another person recommending that you apply for the job are fairly irrelevant.

Your utter panic and desperation are duly noted.

You really should calm down a bit. You're really going over the top. You'll have no place to go when President Trump makes his appointment to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Unless you've been recommended as a means of pushing a wildly partisan agenda. Garland believed himself to be qualified. And he was, except one party chose partisan antics over the welfare of the nation. Now Democrats have no choice but to force Trump to nominate someone who was not his first choice for poisoning the Supreme Court.
