Just saw this as breaking news on Rachel Maddow. It won't be anywhere else because it's breaking news.

So girls, from 12 to 17, most had been raped and came here seeking an abortion.

So Scott Lloyd, who works for the Trump Administration, keeps a very long and detailed spreadsheet on these girls.

They find out how old these girls are, where they are from, how they got pregnant and most of all, when did their menstrual cycle end. So they can estimate when these girls became pregnant so they can hold them past the date where it's legal to get an abortion.

Rachel described it as "creepy".

Trump's top refugee official takes new job at HHS

Scott Lloyd, the controversial Trump administration official in charge of refugee children at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is taking on a new role at the agency.

Lloyd, who joined HHS in March 2017 as director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), is leaving that post to serve as a senior adviser at the Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives.
-------------------

He was ordered by a judge to stop and didn't.

I wonder if he knows what it's like to be raped? Perhaps he should go to prison for ignoring the judge. Isn't that what happens when you defy a judge? Who knows? It might broaden his horizons.

So is that MadCow's newest trick to get Trump out of office?

Because I don't think that's going to work. He should keep trying though, maybe he'll succeed next time.

Do YOU know what it is like to be raped? If not, then shut up.

I know enough about rape that if a raped 12 year old didn't want to be forced to carry her attacker's baby to term, she shouldn't have to.

I don't know why you are taking the side of the rapist.

Maybe you know something I don't.

Have you had experience you might want to share?

I would imagine that being shuffled off to have an abortion is almost as traumatic as being raped, to those young girls.

What kind of people can't see that?

Ones with ideological blinders?

I am not taking the side of any rapist you creep. And I have plenty I could share, but not with the likes of you.
I DO know of what I speak. That should suffice.

"Came here"? Apparently these women come from other countries to enter the U.S. to terminate their pregnancy. Why is considered creepy (by a lesbian advocate) to keep a freaking record?

Baby killers just can’t get over the fact that abortion isn’t about the woman. It’s about the murder of an innocent child. And that child is innocent, even if one of their parents is not. Being raped changes nothing of consequence in the “abortion debate”.

Well, historically, this has been a country that helps people.

It's even in old time traditional Christianity.

Not the new, mean spirited and awful religion Republicans follow today.

The New Christianity that supports a Porn Star President. Seems to hate born children. Seems to support racists. I don't even recognize the nastiness they seem to follow today. It's nothing like traditional Christianity. If it is, someone explain how. Please.

If Republicans actually helped those born, I could understand their position.

Sadly, they don't.

They even use disabled children as political pawns.

What a disgrace. Not just because of their awful and inhumane positions, but because they are so bold and out there about it.

The rape exemption is pretty much accepted as a necessary exemption unless you use the ex post facto rules of scandinavia

But it isn’t necessary. It is still the exact same murder of an innocent. There is no difference whatsoever.

When you think about it, repeatedly raping a child is pretty much murdering their psyche. Once they’re ruined they’re almost dead and away.
And forcing a preteen to have the baby of their rapist truly is continued rape.
Sad Republicans can’t see that.
They’re the kind of people that believe a woman can’t be raped by her husband. So I can kind of see where they get their perspective.

We get it, you have an unhealthy, unnatural, pathological hatred for Republicans. Get over it already.

You know, when you're not looking, there's a Republican right behind you. They have a rotation, so it's never the same one twice.

No. It isn’t continued rape. It’s pregnancy and birth. That’s what happens when a female is inseminated. Murdering an innocent party will not unrape the woman. An unwilling pregnancy is part of what makes rape so heinous a crime. But murdering the innocent will not alleviate that transgression. Rather it turns the victim of a rape, into a murderer themselves...
