Anchors on cable news know they will create buzz, spike the ratings if they show video of an anchor on a competing network and say something nasty about that other anchor;but that means not using air time for facts and robust debate about the facts which is far more important

Anyone believing the vast majority of media don’t have an agenda, hidden or otherwise, in their reporting is a damn fool.
