Nope....the republicans in charge right now are not listening to the people who voted for them.......and Republicans, unlike democrats, are not just going to keep voting the same greedy, corrupt politicians into power....they voted the first Bush out of office because he broke a pledge on taxes...they hold their politicians to their promises....

The people to blame are the current republican leadership....and they prove it every time they talk about using an open convention to get rid of the two guys who actually got the most votes...to put in someone who didn't run but will keep the establishment in their leadership posts in the house and the senate.....

If hilary gets in....the country is trashed...so we might as well start something new since it will be generations before we can change the direction of the country back to anything resembling sanity....

But instead of destroying and then "fundamentally transforming" an existing party, why don't the nationalist/populist/anti-establishment people just start a new party?

The game plan is destroying the front runners (Trump and Cruz) so that a "moderate" candidate can be nominated, then hoping that Hillary implodes and their candidate is elected. If this strategy fails, the GOP will go the way of the Whigs and be replaced by a new political party. Is it worth the risk?

Nobody can tell me that all 17 Republican contenders for the Presidency were normal people.

Obviously, a large portion of them were egotistical falsely hopeful cockeyed optimists, who would have known - if they had not been blinded by self aggrandizement - that they had not even the slightest chance.

When a party is so full of pretenders, that party is doomed to fail, due to internal strife. As we see.

When the few remaining leftovers consider their own pride ahead of their party, or more tragically, ahead of their country, they deserve to be tossed aside as unworthy for the highest office in the land.

Some,possibly. Bernie already said he would encourage his supporters to back Hillary if she happens to win because keeping a republican out of the white house is more important than who wins the Democratic nomination. I agree.
