because its stupid and a watse of money. teens are going to have sex. no fire and brimstone is going to stop that. condoms will at least greatly reduce the number of teen pregnancies and the spread of disease early on

it makes perfect sense. by getting educated you become self sustainable and self reliant as you can use your knowledge and subsequent experience to argue for better pay and benefits inside a current job or have the ability to leave if/when your current company isn't meeting your requirements. when you leave, you will have a number of companies fighting to have your much sought after knowledge and skill help their company. your education gives you the springboard to get in with these companies and build your talents and worthiness for higher paying and more secured jobs.
on the othe rhand you can grad high school, immediately enter the workforce, and then beg for meager jobs in the beginning and hopefully catch a break later in life by getting an office job instead of having to do manual labor until your 60+. also with unskilled jobs you are solely dependent on a company bringing a factory, new construction, repairs, etc to your area. once these jobs leave, all the unskilled workers are now unemployable and ghost towns and extreme poverty form as we have seen in many cities.

Of course you realize that Planned Parenthood's real objection was based on monetary reasons. Every time abstinence is taught, they do less abortions and therefore lose money. Follow the money and you find the truth.
it shows how desperate religious people are to stick to the bible no matter the consequences. thousands and thousands of people would be living aids free in africa if missionaries didn't tell them that god would burn then for eternity if they used condoms.
