More often than not job growth in August is negative.

Obama's team did not get that word out after the numbers were collected but before they were published.

Conclusion: Obama is great at campaigning and sucks at politicking.

550,000 local government jobs are gone, like GOP advocates, since the Great Recession started. For August, overall government employment declined 17,000 even though the State of Minnesota went back to work.

Employment Situation Summary

In a GOP/Tea Party-free, compromise environment, then even the striking Verizon employees would have more likely been employed, the 17,000 government job losses might more easily have been gains instead.

And as for the 550,000 government jobs taking spending out of the stores: Then there is what GOP has been contending, having said "No!" to everything else!

However, if given the House and Senate, a new Republican President could do something about it by reinstating private business incentives, letting private banks heal themselves without government intervention for party supporter banks and no help to the other party supporter banks, which isn't fair to anyone, least of all, American consumers.

People out of work in America is never good news.

The Dems first budget started on October 1st, 2007. The recession started in December 2007 after two successive negative growth quarters of the GDP. So, you're saying that the Dems, just being in office caused the recession? Because, they really didn't get enough legislation done that would effect the economy during the two down quarters.

Republicans held millions of Americans hostage, threatening to cut off their unemployment if Obama didn't extend the Bush Tax cuts. Republicans can fuck millions of Americans. Obama obviously couldn't. Look at the Republicans positions on "disaster relief" and tell us they care about the average American.
