Well, this should stir up the lefties. And, of course they will attack the messenger, claiming it's from a Canadian website and has no business in American politics. Only problem is the author is American living in Southern California.

According to most entrenched and committed liberals in the United States, including the diminished mainstream media, the Koch Brothers are the greatest evil since the Death Star and Darth Vader, and they represent everything that is wrong with democracy.

More accurately, the are two old white men from Kansas with a lot of money, and a libertarian streak which rubs liberals, progressives, and statists the wrong way.

That these two, along with MajaRushtie and Hottey Palin drive them up the walls makes me think highly of them and add to the mantra: God bless the Koch brothers!

I couldn't care less what other think of me. I speak the truths, you deal with them as you wish. And I never left Christianity, I learned it and I rejected it because I did. But Jesus wasn't some feel-good guy, and he wasn't God or made in the belly of virgin by one either.

You placed Jesus on high and I brought him back down to earth. By 12 I knew more than he ever did but we live in different ages and he was a farmer not a mason (mistranslated as carpenter), hence all the field, planting, and seed parables but not a word about hammers, nails, saws, etc. Some of his teachings are useful when dealing with Modern Selfish Short-sided Capitalistic Immoral Rationalizing human beings, especially those in the US who don't know much at all, especially about their "faith", so I use them and I continue to study that faith and many others.

One of the things you pick studying mankind, which makes you hate them if you're honest, is the ability to see beyond them, beyond yourself. You don't fear death, you don't panic when buildings fall, you don't run from dangerous people or situations, you observe them.

It makes you cynical, and therefore realistic. Grandpa dies, he was old. The baby dies, it got sick. The dog dies, that's a shame because it was better than most people. An outlook like that allows you to look at life for what is, see the little men behind the curtains, the constant needs of mankind to say that somehow they matter in a universe that could trash this planet in the blink of an eye and not even bother to notice it went missing. When you aren't attached to this life, the game of life gets very clear.

The only time my ego comes back into play is when someone calls me a liar. I have no reason to lie here. I seek the truths and I present them, with humor if I can. And I can do such a thing because while life matters to you, and your life more than others unless really pushed to save a loved one, I don't give a damn if I never wake up again. If I don't, my problems are solved. Until then, I do what I do, which is seek the truths and I do a lot of that by bantering with mankind, most of whom I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire. They aren't worthy of it.
