kj, Michael is and always has been an angel. He didn't become mortal, and wasn't there with God in the beginning. He was created. Christ on the other hand has been there since the beginning, and without Him, nothing would have been created. Michael is not Jesus.
And Jesus is King and like all kings, will set up His kingdom as soon as the age of the Gentile is fulfilled.
The 144,000 are messianic Jews, that are marked just like Cain was, so that no man can harm them as they spread the word about Christ during the tribulation. They never leave earth. They will be here when Christ returns to end the tribulation period and set up His kingdom.
If they are to be the only ones that enter Heaven, what's God going to do with all of Christ's Christians?
They are marked to assure that all the tribes of Israel will survive WW3, because all nations are going to attack Israel. WW3 will begin and end in Israel. Few will survive it. We know that 12,000 from each tribe will:
