I wish more Democrats were this honest. If Biden's handlers would go public with this fact that every knows, they might win back voters who find themselves currently unable to vote for him.

"Gish Gallop," seems to be the catch phrase of the month of Democrats on this board. Blaming Biden's poor performance at the debate on a Gish Gallop by Trump is absurd. The rules that Team Biden inisted on, and Trump agreed to, prevented that from happening.

If Biden had something to say, he was given ample time to say it, with Trump physically prevented from interrupted him. He used that uninterrupted time to say things like

We’d be able to right wipe out his debt. We’d be able to help make sure that all those things we need to do – child care, elder care, making sure that we continue to strengthen our health care system, making sure that we’re able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I’ve been able to do with the Covid. Excuse me, with dealing with everything we have to do with – look, if – we finally beat Medicare.
