Maxwell was convicted on five of the six charges she faced. In addition to sex-trafficking, Maxwell was found guilty of conspiracy to entice individuals under the age of 17 to travel in interstate commerce with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity, conspiracy to transport individuals under the age of 17 to travel in interstate commerce with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity; transportation of an individual under the age of 17 with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity; and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of individuals under the age of 18.

Following the guilty verdict, Damian Williams, the Manhattan US attorney, said in a statement: “A unanimous jury has found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty of one of the worst crimes imaginable: facilitating and participating in the sexual abuse of children. Crimes that she committed with her longtime partner and co-conspirator, Jeffrey Epstein.”

It's silly to assume everybody who went to his island was involved in some way. You really think Bill Murray and Chris Tucker are part of a child sex trafficking ring?

It is also silly to assume they were not considering the entire purpose of the island was for trafficking in underage sex.

I do not assume they are all guilty but every tiny detail and every person visiting that island needs to have that visit investigated. The real problem here is that it is very, very hard to trust that such is being done considering how the case was handled in the past, his untimely death and, most importantly, the MASSIVE amount of influence and power players that have visited the island.

The powers that be have never paid for their crimes in the same manner that the average joe does, this is no exception.

In fact, the islands were part of the Virgin Islands, so any charges would have to be done locally.

Interpol only would have jurisdiction if the local cops on the Virgin Islands wanted to call them in for help.
The US really has no jurisdiction.
The Mann Act is not really legal.
Orgies are not illegal and imply nothing about age.
The age of 18 is arbitrary and therefore not really based on law.
I do not mind the age normally, but in cases like with Roman Polanski, the perpetrators were the mother and daughter, not Roman.
There is no hard and fast rule.
Each case needs to be examined individually.
