The DNC/Big Tech/Media unholy alliance have decided on their new talking point, and it's a doozy!

Note how this apparatchik conveniently avoids mentioning food in her diatribe:

In a Bloomberg op-ed, Allison Schrager outlines our current crises and suggests that a more continental lifestyle would do us all some good.

She writes:

…if we are truly serious about protecting the planet, being a good global citizen will take more than driving an electric car or installing solar panels. It means consuming less so that we throw less away. Maybe that means getting by with only one refrigerator or avoiding fast, disposable fashion.
Americans tend to overspend or buy cheap substitutes rather than save up for longer-lasting, better-quality goods. That’s a function of the accessibility of cheap goods, of having more space to store our purchases, and also of a culture where buying stuff feeds the empty part of our souls. European souls are not necessarily more fulfilled, they just find other, more eco-friendly ways to shut out the darkness — like going on a long bike ride.

Coming to a store near you--signs that say, "Welcome to the Third World, We have finally achieved EQUITY."

Now would be a good time to replace truck drivers with computers. We can get that problem solved and out of the way.

So how are these qualified truck drivers and dock workers to be found? The right-wingers must know a large community of trained and licensed elves that nobody else knows exists. More shipping containers also are needed. It is ridiculous just to blame someone for a problem without considering what is needed to solve it and what is actually obtainable. Only Harry Potter has a magic wand, and nobody in the Biden administration can cough up computer chips.

Somewhere millions of Russians are pointing and laughing.
They are laughing now, but there was very few laughs back then. And we can approach that if these insane godless cultists complete their self professed mission to bring utopia to the world.

This is nothing new…when obama/xiden and the dems ran congress back in 2009 obama was telling us that double digit UE was the new normal, they want us to accept their failures

^^^Told ya. Look at this lefty already trying to normalize runaway inflation and third-world/communist style shortages as our (normal Americans') lack of belief.

It's worth noting probably 80% of the lefties on this forum are totally on board with that. Maybe 90%.

They assume they'll be in the elite group that gets to shop in the well-stocked shops for the Party Insiders.

They are wrong.

My dude, they've been trying this line for a while. Remember Bernie Sanders extolling the glories of food lines? I've said it before, and will say it again: the left has always hated and resented the American standard of living and the fact that we don't live and act as the peasants they think we are.
