Where is it in his job description that says he must perform a dog and pony show? Plus, CINC isn't an actual military rank when referencing politicians. Rumsfeld knew the importance of that phrase when he changed who could be given the title over 7 years ago. You probably didn't know CINC would also be used for actual Military personnel and it was not limited to the Prez. Obama's first priority should be seeking methods of ending occupations that are getting our troops killed. The time he spends bending over for PC garbage could be better spent trying to figure out how to prevent even more troops from dying. He can't bring back the lives lost at Ft Hood but he could help prevent future unnecessary losses. But hey, maybe my priorities are screwed up and I lack the ability to understand why saving lives is less important than some really ******* stupid PR gig. Why don't you tell me to go Serve again.
