Gas prices $2.60 near me - Righty narratives flop

Okay, can you show evidence that the tar sands oil from Canada didn’t make it to the world market?

Or not?
The World maybe, but not necessarily to the US.

That's a big difference. World vs US. If we're selling more of that to the world than to consumers here in the US, then it does us little good.

There is no difference between US and world oil.

Even our fracking oil is sold global prices.

Property tax bills are based upon greedy governments, not the housing market. Reassessing properties and setting rates is done by local politicians who sometime use an inflated market as a camouflage to hide their greed. If there is no way, under your state law not to reassess, it doesn't stop the taxing agencies from reducing the millage so they don't have unjust enrichment.
We don't have millage added on here. The school board has their own power to tax by ratcheting up sales tax.

So you’re saying the lockdowns during 2020 were pretty effective. Fascinating.
They were not effective at all... but who knew back then what was coming... I'm sure you didn't... this thing was killing people and Trump set aside his ego to work with Fauci and others and he took their advise... also a mistake but a mistake anyone would have made as a president of a nation.... you can't blame Trump for the short comings of our CDC... that's all on Fauci...

Rambunctious uses lots of hyperbole.

All he has to do, which I've asked him to do many times, is post a GAS BUDDY quote of the price he claims she paid.
But he refuses, because it will destroy his narrative.

$200 for two bags, sure, depends on what you're buying.
Two bags could also be $40, depends on what you're buying.

LOOOLLLLOOOLLLL........ so much Hyperbole.

Seems like they were very effective given fewer people died from COVID during the lockdowns of 2020 than during the less locked down 2021.

Or do you have some other explanation?

I might add that while 97% of it DOES reach the US, not all of it is sold to consumers. We can sell that oil to anyone else in the world.

In Pennsylvania , the only taxes school boards can levy are real estate tax and earned income tax. They can't do a sales tax.

We don’t own that oil. Canada sells it to they want and we refine and charge for that.

Well of course the numbers picked up after states reopened but no where near the numbers we were told would materialize...
See you people can't nail Trump on his mistakes because Biden's were worse in every way... and Cackles was right there with Joe all the way....

LOL.

Another wisecrack.

You couldn't get toilet paper because people gave in to their fears and overwhelmed storefronts everywhere. Some people hoarded it to sell at jacked up prices. Trump didn't do that, a fearful and avaricious country did.

But nice try.

If you think Biden wasn't responsible for high gas prices, Trump was not to blame for a toile paper shortage.
Trump did not give a shit if people had toilet paper
He pays people to wipe his ass for him

So you are saying the lockdowns saved lives. Numbers picked up when states reopened after all. Fascinating.

You’re now blaming Biden for the mistake of states opening back up? Seems weird. I doubt you think opening up is a mistake. What was Biden’s mistake?

So, we sell 40% of the crude we get from Canada to the rest of the world. Now I will amend my statement somewhat. While 97% of it reaches us, 97% of it does not get consumed by us. If the US refilled the SOR (Strategic Oil Reserve) and then supplied the rest of it to the US, the prices would be significantly lower. But I'm no economist by any stretch.

I get a lot of millage on property I own out of state in WV. There is like 4 add-ons that add up to more than the real estate portion. One is school operations, one is school bonds, one is money for some economic development funding scheme, and I forget what the other is. That bill comes out in August so been awhile since I paid them.
