Things are getting more and more crazy, iyam. Once again I hate to be the party pooper, but I was just on X and Whitney Webb is sharing some disturbing info on Gaetz. See the tweets below. In the second one, a close friend of his (allegedly, but it appears to be true) has publicly made statements defending Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. You can see that here, but there are more links in the second tweet below.










ETA: I've been hearing some very, very disturbing things about Gaetz. I mean, really bad stuff. I don't know if they're all true or not, but earlier today I saw someone on X make a good point. They said that the AG should be an honorable trustworthy person, not someone with character issues. I agree with that, of course. If even half of the things I've been hearing about him are true, I think he's the wrong person for the job and I hope he doesn't get appointed.

What exactly do you think he means by that? Ever heard him talk about it off the cuff in long form on a podcast before? I have, and what he wants to do is turn them into basically a detective agency that doesnt have any guns. He wants that agency to then pass on their findings to local police who would do the arresting and whatnot.

If they dont have guns, they dont have the power to arrest people, which means they cant intimidate people anymore. Intimidating people and "having 6 ways to Sunday to ruin your life" is not their job.

I was thinking more along the lines of Affordable Healthcare, Dept. of Education, FBI, CIA, etc.
I doubt that much was actually spent on the 3 that you mentioned, but they are dumb and should be discontinued, if they're even still in effect.

Gutting all these agencies at the top and replacing them with non-partisans would be a good start. They could perhaps promoted well vetted agents from within. Any new management needs to be carefully vetted, however, as although these agencies were weaponized at the management level, I am sure many of those hired by the partisan management also need to be axed. Most recently FEMA comes to mind. It is amazing to see just how damaging 12 out of 16 years of Democratic control was.
