Getting drunk

Learning about reality through the scientific method or thinking rationally.
Wanting to spend the rest of your life with the person that you love(no matter the sex!)
Wanting to be the gender you wish

God doesn't make anyone believe in Him nor is He a totalitarian. There a certain things that those that believe in His word that will not accept society pushing it on us and telling us that we must accept it and acquiesce. Like the owners of Chik Filet that contributed to keeping the legal definition between a man and a woman. They are within THEIR right to defend the sanctity of a covenant as you are to oppose it without suffering backlash for doing so...if people are "truly free". God gives us free will and we are to exercise it according to our conscience. This isn't the "World According To Matthew"....you want us to put up with you? Then you need to realize that you have to put up with us. Christians are not preventing birth control, abortion or same gendered couples from being together but don't ask US to accept it as the norm and comply with beliefs that we know to be wrong. As far as science goes? You don't know much about the real scientific advances that have been made that the elites keep to themselves because to do so would cause them to lose their control over you.....get it now???

No, they generally didn't (though there are always exceptions). When religion becomes corrupt, then of course bad things happen. Modern Christianity is an example of a corrupt religion. But a corrupt religion isn't really the same religion as the good religion that it came from (which in the case of Modern Christianity is early Protestantism).

Good religion is for guidance and advising not enforcement. Free will to choose the blessings or the curse, the heavenly earth or hellish earth. Those religions needing iron fists, abusive proselytising, swords, violence, torture are admitting their teachings are flawed. You are asking for a simple answer to a very complex set of circumstances that has led us to this place. Christians became lax and instead of standing up for what they knew was right and just, they went along to get along. We allowed ourselves to be socially engineered and easily swayed by lies of those in power. The Christians did not do a proper vetting of those that they hitched their wagons to nor did enough of them get into the political system in order to keep "vigil" because the thought was always "God will provide"...well, God needs us to meet Him halfway because He isn't a genie that pops out of a magic lamp whenever we are in trouble. The warning signs were always there and were ignored. I believe that it is the sincere praying and fasting of the faithful that is keeping the wolf at the door. We have "white hats" that have saved our butts more than a few times over the last 6 years waiting for people to wake up but I don't see that lasting much longer. There has been an awakening of the people as to the fraud that has been done to us but I am afraid that it's too little, too late. The economy is going to crash and it's going to crash in a way that will make the orchestrated crash of 1929 seem tame by comparison. Back in 1929, 95 percent of the population lived in the rural areas and could hunt and attempt to grow their own food and even in spite of that, 7,000,000 people died of malnutrition and starvation during the Depression. Now, the roles are reversed...more people live in cities and towns and the rural areas have been decimated by new roads that bypass their towns thus suffocating the population into moving to a bigger city. Due to the acts, statutes, codes and ordinances, people are being told how big of a garden they can grow in their own backyards. The "gubermint" has been using intimidation and the force of the bankers to move farmers and ranchers off of their land and forcing them into either foreclosure or selling on the cheap to the Bureau of Land Management which was what the Oregon stand-off was about. We are in a very bad situation and 90 percent of America doesn't have the slightest clue because they have never known hunger......but it's coming. Think of USA.INC like the Titanic that has already hit the iceberg but because the band played on, no one took the call to get in the lifeboats seriously until it started taking on water.
