When you click on a member online in the box to the right, it probably shows what thread they are on. When checking from the Mod screen, we see status, if on, link to what they are looking at, last seen, and can check either show all content or threads by a member. I have no idea what all you can see from the members on line box, that is to your right. Right, that is, on computer screen. I have no idea what you see from a mobile app, as I rarely have used it, plus, having modded for a while, I forget what regular members see, as opposed to what is programmed for the staff. Not a matter of something grayed out, just simply not there.

Have you tried, checking in with them through PM? Lots of people log on, and even stay logged on, not responding, unless they see something of interest or that pisses them off.

This site's turnkey software is Xenforo. They actually have a forum where you can discuss these issues. There are plenty of issues like this, but I think the software they provide is really not that bad.
