The only possible reason one of the duopoly's candidates "wins" is that more than half the hypnotized people who see only the two possibilities offered by the duopoly have found the other candidate even more distasteful. Anyone even somewhat objective would agree that Trump is unfit. That might justify voting against him. Given the above mentioned binary trance the nation is in, that means voting the other way. We could call that voting for Harris, but no one really would, given any genuine choice. She has no more business in the Oval Office than Trump.
It is a deeply depressing situation for our Republic.
