this one seems to be fast moving. maybe the rain will be useful (rather than destructive) before it gets to you.

Wish we could get some of the tropical storm here in the Mid Atlantic. It's been dry for most of the summer.

It's going to push into the lower half of Illinois but not make it up to where I reside, and it has been bone dry for 2 months. We have had cells roll through dropping 2-4" of rain this summer but they are hit or miss, mainly miss.
