I TOLD YOU the Russians would be in Paris by Spring!

We intentionally kept the Soviets out of the loop for the invasion because nobody trusted Stalin.
I guess France loves Putin. Shame, Soviets had zero role on D-Day. Yes, the Soviets raped their way across East Europe, but it has nothing to do with D-Day. And before that the Soviets had a peace pact with Hitler that allowed Hitler to begin his world conquest.

You might do well to see were the Soviets had advanced to in June of 1944.....opening their offensive on the 22nd of June......By August they were on the Vistula river.....

During roughly the same period they took double the casualties the western allies did and inflicted nearly 3X the causalities on German, Romania, and Hungarian troops.

The Soviets were most definitely not sitting on their hands.

Besides....The Soviets invited the western allies and China to their 1945 victory celebration/parade in Moscow. ;)

Soviets knowingly let Hitler start his conquest of the world.
And Stalin using unarmed political prisoners as cannon fodder makes casualties irrelevant.

Part of that high casualty count was due to unwise military tactics by the Soviets.
