French President to Boycott 75th Anniversary of D-Day

Hey Europe when your next war comes....don't call us, we'll call you.

Not so much love,

America

The problem is you have a totally irreal and crazy concept of history and politics. The war hungry nation is the USA. Russians hate war. Germans too.

One more reason for America to get out of NATO.

You destroyed the NATO when your president Donald Trump had cancelled the "Treaty Between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the Elimination of Their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles". This had happened against the will of all Europeans. In the NATO exists now exclusivelly only the will of the USA - and not the will of anyone else, so the NATO is dead.
When is Europe going to pay us back for the unpaid NATO dues?

F^k Europe.

Europe: Initiator of the worlds largest wars.
Warmongers.

Yes but their history only extends back 70 years remember. Before that it's MEAN to remember

President Macron is facing criticism over his refusal to attend an international ceremony in France to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day next week.

Instead, he plans to emphasise the role played by French soldiers and resistance fighters in the invasion of Normandy in 1944.

The president’s critics described his absence from the international ceremony at Juno Beach on June 6 as an affront to allied veterans. Officials in Paris refute the accusation, saying that French presidents only take charge of international D-Day commemorations on round-number anniversaries, such as the 60th or the 70th.

WTF? We sent our boys to France to die so he didn’t have to learn German. Only a few vets left now. F*k the French

Macron attacked for snubbing Juno Beach D-Day anniversary ceremony

The wife's Uncle is buried in Paris; he was shot down June 8th 1944. He died with his crew. Lest We forget. Evidently Macron has.

Greg

The liberation of Paris started in the middle of August 1944 with a general strike of the French population. It followed on 19th of August an open revolt of the Forces françaises de l'intérieur (Army of France, resistance fighters). While the French forces overtook the control over Paris - and the first allies reached the center of Paris - Dietrich von Choltitz capitulated against the strict order of Donald Trump - ah sorry: of Adolf Hitler - on August 25th 1944.

Germans confusing their murdering dictator with our American president is why they are no longer allies of ours.

In other words, get lost, and I mean it. Don't depend on us for anything. I regret that we even let you patch your nation back together after WW2, and wish we would have annexed it to all surrounding nations: Austria, France, Belgium. We should not have left Germany standing.

That was exactly what Hitler thought about Paris. "To destroy or not to destroy - this is the question". The strange thing now is: If you had been Hitler and Hitler had thought in the same way as you are thinking now, then Hitler had destroyed Paris. Fortunatelly you are a good US-American and Hitler was evil.

See this German projection folks? This is their latest way of dealing with the Holocaust, I'm convinced of this--they're done apologizing for it or even feeling guilty for it. Now, Trump is Hitler and America is worse. This is how they're dealing with it.

Abhorrent.

Next, Germany INVADED everyone. America did not. America came in and, with the Allied forces, basically saved everyone from you murdering maniacal dictator. Mmmm, not the same thing. Sorry, you don't get to rewrite the history of that. AFTER that I am not sure why we didn't annex your nation out of existence. Especially not seeing your projection now. I dearly hope my future grandchildren don't regret that we did not....but I have a very bad feeling about this.

(Next up, this German will try to explain how America is JUST AS BAD as WW2 Germany)

We did not invade Switzerland for example.

America did not. America came in and, with the Allied forces, basically saved everyone from you murdering maniacal dictator.

With the help of the murdering maniacal dictator Stalin to whom you sold the East of Europe. And your bombs - war crimes! - murdered lots of innocent people too.

One of the worst problems of the USA is it that you have a totally lousy moral. No one in Germany defends anything what the Nazis had done - except he is an extreme idiot - but you seem to think you are still a soldier - a "hero" - of world war 2, who you never was. You have nothing to do with. That's past. History.

You have to do for example with the dioxines in Vietnam. Because of this dioxines ("agent orange") suffer and die in Vietnam today people because of the war in Vietnam. How high is your military budget? For what? For not to help Vietnam after this war and to let people suffer and die today in a war which ended once in 1975? How much money wasted the USA since this days and how much money needs it to help Vietnam to solve this neverending problem?

Europeans are pathetically incompetent to take care of themselves.

Your sentence here is a good example for pathetic nonsense. You are able to find in my sentences cynisms and sarcasm - but not pathos.

And? What will you do now to solve the health problems which "you" caused in Vietnam once and which are still active? Not to think about, because this is the best way to be happy?
