Fox News legal expert sees “no viable case” against James Comey

If you pretend to know about the military, and know nothing about the UCMJ, then you're stuck on stupid.
+
yes, you are stupid....hence why you thought impersonating a officer in the military was the same as impersonating a federal employee. You were clueless until about 30 mins ago when I informed you.

He didn't lie. He was a command sergeant major when he retired.

But because he didn't have sufficient time in grade, his retirement pay (and designation) was at a different rank.

So it was a technicality, not a lie.
He did reach the rank of command sergeant major near the end of his service, but he would have had to serve in that role for three years to retire at that rank officially, says the National Guard.

Personnel files show Walz was reduced one rank - to master sergeant - after retiring for benefits purposes.

hahahha yes it is a lie first to claim you are a retired from that rank you have to hold it for three years, he didn't. MOREOVER, he was REDUCED in rank to MASTER SERG.

he's a liar, like you

Both are a violation of law.
One violates UCMJ
The other 18 USC 912

they aren't the same, as they violate two totally different laws.

You claiming they were the same, just shows how clueless and stupid you are....and you seem to be content being stuck on it.

I don't care the cost at this point, birthday cards, letters, all going fedex

it's embarrassing the US Postal Services hired you.

Again mr stuck on stupid you didn't even read your own post very closely.

Personnel files show Walz was reduced one rank - to master sergeant - after retiring for benefits purposes.

You missed the words after retiring
Meaning at the time of retirement, he was a
command sergeant major like I said.

He didn't lie. He was a command sergeant major when he retired.

This is where your head explodes.
If he was reduced in rank after he retired.

What rank did he hold when he retired?

No I didn't, the words are clear, he was no a retired command sergeant major that he falsely claimed......no way around that.

did he hold that rank for three years? No, then he falsely claimed it. He also falsely claimed to be in combat, he's pathetic, and your defense of his stolen valor is disgusting.....the fact you are a federal employee is an embarrassment to the United States

Use of Military Rank by Retired Military Members

Try reading it.

Again stuck on stupid what was the claim?

“Command Sergeant Major Walz retired from the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion in 2005.”

What was his rank when he retired?

Command Sergeant Major

What was his rank after he retired

master sergeant

There is no inconsistency, hence no lie.

Nice, I did, but what you should be looking at is the Minn National Guard's policies, which clearly stated that one has to have that rank for three years before using it.

Tampon Timmy did not, he lied, and in fact even after he was demoted, continued to lie.

Try not being stuck on stupid, stupid.

The lie was when he claimed to be a "Retired Command Sergeant Major" when in fact he wasn't.

How is this not sinking in? Oh wait, cause you are stuck.

That's NOT Minn National Guard policy.
That's National Guard retirementpolicy. Which has nothing to do with how someone refers to themselves. It's for retirement purposes only.

Such as they still call George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama "Mr President"

You need to look at Minn policy since he was in the Minn national guard, and as your prior link stated you have to hold the rank for three years...moveover, he was demoted and still claimed it.

Pathetic

I know you aren't going to get unstuck here, it's in your nature to stay stuck

He is a retired Command Sergeant Major.

That was his rank when he retired, like it said in his BIO.

He is a retired Command Sergeant Major.

That was his rank when he retired, like it said in his BIO.
His bio was a lie, he was not a retired command serg major, he didn't have the rank for three years as required, moreover he wasn't even a command serg major, he was demoted, as your link highlighted

keep defending his stolen valor, you are an embarrassment

15th post
“He held multiple positions within field artillery such as firing battery chief, operations sergeant, first sergeant and culminated his career serving as the command sergeant major for the battalion. He retired as a master sergeant in 2005 for benefit purposes because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy,” said Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, the Minnesota National Guard’s state public affairs officer.

So while Walz can say he served as a command sergeant major, which also made him the highest enlisted member serving in Congress, and he can even get away with saying he retired as a command sergeant major, he cannot say he is a “retired command sergeant major.” On Thursday the Harris campaign changed Walz’s official bio on their website to reflect that. https://www.npr.org/2024/08/08/nx-s1-5068668/vance-walz-stolen-valor-military-record

Tampon Timmy lied

You need to look at Minn policy since he was in the Minn national guard, and as your prior link stated you have to hold the rank for three years...moveover, he was demoted and still claimed it.
You confuse Minn national guard policy, with Minn National Guard retirement policy, which is unrelated to official rank designations.

George Washington died on December 14, 1799, at the age of 67. Upon his passing he was listed as a retired lieutenant general on the rolls of the US Army

So it would be correct to say that Lieutenant General George Washington retired in 1783

The truth works both ways.

Back to the OP.

Lindsey Halligan can't legally call herself "Acting US Attorney"

Walz was an ACTING Command Sergeant Major because there was nobody available of that rank to fill the actual position. His rank was Master Sergeant. Nothing shameful about that, but he did not retire as a CSM.

I wonder if he was drawing E9 or E8 pay at the time.
