The backfire has started. This was a major blunder by FOX. Tucker had plans to go on Monday night and expose more Ray Epps treachery that 60 Minutes failed to do so Sunday night in their fluff piece on him. FOX couldn't allow Tucker to do it so they got rid of him.

Makes you wonder what they thought they’d might’ve lost if they’d kept him.

FNC will lose a lot more than that in the coming months. Worse move that Rupert did was to put son Lachlan in charge.

Did you miss the news where Fox lost $787.5 Million last week? And still has big money suits in the pipeline that the Dominion evidence practically guarantees they’ll lose? Smart magic or whatever they’re called has a $2.7 billion lawsuit about to go to trial. At least one of the lawsuits are about how Tucker made Fox a hostile work environment. So keeping him on salary could well cost them an even larger fortune in the near future.

But let me put it this way. Let’s say you have an employee who brings in good revenues. But he has a lot of accidents in the company vehicle. At what point do you decide his income generation isn’t worth the costs?

Fox has a chance to come back. But they have to start reporting news instead of propaganda.

Tucker reported nothing but the truth.

Tucker reported nothing but the truth.

Actually. The court case you didn’t hear much about demonstrated that no, he didn’t.

Here’s the way it works. If you say something about someone or a company. You have to be able to back it up. You have to prove your statements are true. It isn’t the responsibility of those you are talking about to prove you are lying. You have to prove it.

Tucker is not solely but is quite responsible for Fox getting sued by a lot of people. How much should they lose because he won’t deal in things he can prove?

Tucker was fired after it was found out that his Monday night segment was to be about the video proof about Ray Epps that CBS failed to air in their big story on Sunday. It's a tangled web.

Another puzzlement is about Blackrock and their major stock holdings in Fox and also Dominion. They hold over 50% of Dominion and almost 50% of Fox. They are a major player in the charade we saw. Something is very fishy here.

So what you are saying is Fox has to be just like CNN and MSNBC. It has to push the Democratic Party Propaganda. For example, the Steele Dossier. If Fox News ever does that it will lose me and many other conservative viewers.

No. Fox can report on anything they want. However if they knowingly put forth false information. And Tucker did often, then they face serious financial repercussions.

Those repercussions are coming home. They just lost a ton of money, and they are looking at losing a lot more. Probably a Billion Dollars to Smartmatic, and another few hundred million to other lawsuits. How many viewers do they need to afford those kinds of losses? How much can they make off advertisements? Not nearly enough to cover the expenses they are racking up.

All this stuff about a reporter. Nobody should really care. If you do you have problems. Seek help. It simply doesn't matter. It's not any more important than a janitor getting fired.

Tucker also put forth a lot of factual news that helped reveal the corruption and malfeasance in the D.C. Swamp.

Firing Tucker has also cost Fox News a fortune.

So basically, Tucker was about to double down on the lies. Well, at that point, you cut your losses even though the guy brings in the viewers. At some point, it becomes not worth the bad publicity. He can go to Newsmax and teach them about paying big money for lying straight up. :)

No it has affected the stock price. The cost is the lawsuits that Fox is losing.

Look at Dominion. The Judge ruled that Fox had knowingly put out false information defaming Dominion. That is a matter of fact and law. It cost Fox $787.5 million dollars. Not in stock value. In actual cash. That is half of what they earned last year. And with multiple lawsuits in the pipeline they are looking at another billion plus in payments over the next year to eighteen months.

That is unsustainable for any business. If Fox doesn’t make some big changes they will be bankrupt in less than two years. They will go the way of the Dodo. And where will Conservatives get their news from?

Right now Fox is looking at running in the red for the next several years. That is why the stock price is falling. People realize they aren’t looking at dividends but expenses. Fox will have to dump a bunch of their own stock to try and cover their operating expenses. That will drive the price down, and that will make the company appear shaky.

It isn’t that they screwed up by firing Tucker. It is that they should have fired him two years ago and saved themselves several billion dollars.

This is the problem... Tucker told a lot of lies and doubled down on them... He knew they were lies...

So what truth did Tucker expose?

Fact checkers struggled to find much meaningful truthful statements

This is all part of our neocons and Democrats wish to kill free speech, block Trump at all cost and influence all future elections. I wouldn't be surprised if Dominion was financially backed by rich, establishment robber barons, the DNC or the American communist party.

Don't tell lies. Don't repeat them. You won't get sued. Seems a pretty simple lesson to me.
You do know that 1st Amendment is not a blanket protection to just say or print anything you'd like...right? :)

WHO the FUCK made YOU the arbiter of TRUTH?????
