The Fox News website links to stories in the New York Times, and then puts their own spin on them. When you read the underlying story, it doesn’t say anything like what Fox News claims that says, but they know their viewers are never gonna read the underlying stories.

Fox News reports that Hunter Biden’s laptop is genuine based on a report in the New York Times.

Except the report in the New York Times didn’t say that Hunter Biden’s laptop was genuine. It said that SOME of the documents on Hunter’s laptop were genuine.

That was always known to be the case, but it was only a small percentage of the material found on the hard drive received by the New York Post.

In the French Presidential elections, the GRU hacked into French companies’ servers and copied documents, which included correspondence, corporate letterheads and email headers. The Russians then used the stolen documents to create forgeries, which implicated President Macron, in corruption and bribery schemes, and distributed them to French media right before the election. This happened in 2017. Trump’s intel agencies spotted the hacking.

And if you think this story sounds a lot like the Hunter’s Laptop story, Burisma suffered a similar hacking in 2020, right before Hunter’s laptop turned up.

Look at Dominion. The Judge ruled that Fox had knowingly put out false information defaming Dominion. That is a matter of fact and law. It cost Fox $787.5 million dollars. Not in stock value. In actual cash. That is half of what they earned last year. And with multiple lawsuits in the pipeline they are looking at another billion plus in payments over the next year to eighteen months.

That is unsustainable for any business. If Fox doesn’t make some big changes they will be bankrupt in less than two years. They will go the way of the Dodo. And where will Conservatives get their news from?

Right now Fox is looking at running in the red for the next several years. That is why the stock price is falling. People realize they aren’t looking at dividends but expenses. Fox will have to dump a bunch of their own stock to try and cover their operating expenses. That will drive the price down, and that will make the company appear shaky.

It isn’t that they screwed up by firing Tucker. It is that they should have fired him two years ago and saved themselves several billion dollars.

Dominion filed a motion asking for summary judgement and attached thirty pages of internal communications from Fox that they got during discovery. Thirty pages of people like Tucker saying in group text chats and emails that the decision to call the election for Biden hurt the brand and they lost viewers.

The Judge ruled that Dominion had proven that Fox had in fact knowingly broadcast false and defamatory information about Dominion despite having more than thirty thousand communications from Dominion to Fox demonstrating the truth.

Fox lost the case. Period. They sat the jury. The opening statements were about to be made. The only questions left were how much harm Dominion suffered and how much would it be worth.



It is an established matter of fact and law that Fox News Lied.

Sure there are. And they’ll have to decide. Do we placate our viewers and report what they want to hear? Or do we tell the truth. If they go with placate the viewers, they will face similar bankruptcies as lawsuits pound them into submission. Eventually no investor would throw money at any Conservatives news. Would you invest in a company you know is going to go broke in less than a decade?

There is an old saying. If you shoot the messenger you will get better news. But it won’t be the truth.

If I'm not mistaken, Dominion has a lawsuit against the other two lesser conservative outlets, One America News Network and Newsmax. I don't know of any others besides them. They also don't have the big bucks to pay out a settlement like FOX did.
