Four questions for Bernie Sanders, Zohran Mamdani, and anyone else who believes that billionaires should not exist

Absolutely. Buffet and others like him have not only shared their fortunes but have also stated that they should be taxed more.

AI Overview

Yes, Warren Buffett famously said it was unfair that his secretary paid a higher tax rate than he did. He publicly made this point multiple times, beginning in 2011, to highlight inequities in the U.S. tax code.

These Billionaires are people that care about others. Having said that, the higher number of Billionaires do not care one iota about others. As such (and with the agreement of Buffett), Billionaires should pay their fair share in taxes, and it should be a much higher percentage than what is paid now.

This supports my point. and it goes against your OP.

Taxes are mentioned in the Constitution moron healthcare is not.
No Air Force is mentioned in the Constitution, either....you ready to declare that unconstitutional?

Birth control is not mentioned in the Constitution, either....are you ready for the Griswald vs Connecticut SCOTUS decision from 1965 to also be reversed?

When you are a looney arch conservative such as yourself, you open up a massive can of worms that you simply have no answers for.

As a person who very much believes that billionaires should exist, I'm very curious to hear the answers to these four questions.

If there is anyone in this forum who believes that billionaires should not exist, please answer the four questions.

I have four questions for Sanders, Mamdani, and anyone else whobelieves that billionaires should not exist.

But first, I’d like to present some background informationbefore I ask those four questions.

Aluminum used to be so expensive that it was considered a preciousmetal. When they built the Washington Monument, they put a 20 poundpiece of aluminum at the top. At the time, it was the biggest pieceof refined aluminum in the world.

Since then, some greedy capitalists figured out how to makealuminum so cheap that today, people throw aluminum foil into thegarbage.

Those greedy capitalists became billionaires because of what theydid.

And we are all better off as a result.

The same thing is true for the people who created LEGO, HarryPotter, and so many other things. Those people became billionaires. And they did so by making other people better off.

Wikipedia has a list of billionaires per country. I clicked twiceon the part where it says “rate,” so it would show the number ofbillionaires per capita in each country. Here is a screenshot of thisthat shows which countries have the highest number of billionairesper capita. This is only part of the list. The total number ofcountries that have billionaires is a lot longer, and you can readthe complete list at the link.

Source: List of countries by number of billionaires - Wikipedia

The thing that I find most interesting about that screenshot is that it shows that Sweden actually has more billionaires, per capita, than the United States.

If you go to the link and read the entire list, you will see that there are certain countries that are not on the list, because theydon’t allow people to become billionaires. North Korea and Cuba aretwo of these countries.

Regarding the countries that don’t allow people to become billionaires, immigration patterns prove that no one wants to live inthose countries. All of the immigration regarding those countries isout of those countries. No one moves into those countries.

Now that I have presented this background information, here are my four questions for Bernie Sanders, Zohran Mamdani, and anyone else who believes that billionaires should not exist:

1) Would you rather be a middle class person today, or the richest person in the world 200 years ago?

2) Based on that wikipedia list, would you rather live in a real world country that has lots billionaires, or in a real world country where it’s impossible for people to become billionaires?

3) Why do you think it’s a bad thing that the creator of Harry Potter became a billionaire?

4) What do you think of the fact that Sweden has more billionaires, per capita, than the U.S.?

The more subtle truth is, nobody on the left has a problem with the George Soros', Warren Buffets, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerbergs, et al that they consider to be on THEIR side.

It is only those of the very wealthy that are neutral or obviously right wing that they see as a problem.

In the early Twentieth Century, John D. Rockefeller became the world's first billionaire. His wealth was roughly 3 percent of the entire USA GDP. He earned his wealth honorably as the founder and magnate of Standard Oil--he addressed a rapidly growing need of the U.S. market. The Rockefeller dynasty would have a profound effect on America and continues to be a positive influence in the world.

And nobody thought that immoral or improper or complained about 'income inequality.' The next decades would see many Americans rise from poverty or very modest means to become very wealthy. There is nothing in the American system to prevent anybody from aspiring to that. Most of our millionaires and billionaires did not start out from a position of wealth or privilege.

Now attainment of wealth has become a propaganda tool. The more subtle impetus behind that could be because of the Marxist ambitions of a totalitarian government for the USA--private wealth/property must be eliminated in order for that to happen. Of course they will go after the very wealthy first as they hope jealousy and envy of that wealth will cause most American people to approve of the government confiscating it. So the propaganda they promote is to facilitate that happening.

The Military is in the Constitution.

Yes, they are.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1:

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.

WHERE are the tax CUTS?
Where is the uniformity?

The Military is in the Constitution.
Not an answer....or you are agreeing with me.

If you are interpreting that the Air Force can be considered part of the military according to the Constitution, then you can make the same interpretation that "promote the general welfare" includes government actions to help its population, such as health care.

So corruption is okay as long as it can be shown to help the poor?
As opposed to Repug corruption that only helps the rich? Yes....Democratic "corruption" is better.

Of course....your hopeless MAGA simp ass can't actually prove corruption in Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. At least not corruption perpetuated by the Federal government.
